Learn about the art of Cognac with winemaker Paul Szersnovicz, Cellar Master Assistant at Thomas Hine. Born and raised in the Cognac region, Paul studied business in Montréal, worked in finance as well as for non-profit organizations in Bordeaux. During his travels and time abroad, he was surprised how eyes would sparkle when he mentioned his Cognac roots. And so, two years ago he decided to return to Cognac, to pursue a master's degree in business and law of spirits as well as a degree in oenology. He became a cellar master assistant at Thomas Hine while continuing to work on his family's 10-hectare vineyard in the Borderie.
